Airplane II: The Sequel is a parody comedy that follows former pilot Ted Striker as he’s forced back into action—this time in space.

After being dismissed as unstable, Striker is proven right when a commercial space shuttle headed for the moon runs into serious trouble. With the crew incapacitated, he’s the only one who can save the passengers. Meanwhile, his love interest Elaine is aboard the doomed flight, raising the stakes.

The movie spoofs sci-fi films (especially 2001: A Space Odyssey) while keeping the rapid-fire jokes, visual gags, and absurd humor style of the original Airplane!.
